Great shoes for babies with fat or wide feet
These shoes are great for babies who have wide or chunky feet. My baby loves his first shoes - loves pulling the velcro straps on and off. So far, they've held up great, although the gray suede toes get a bit dirty if your baby is walking in the grass or dirt. But kids shoes are supposed to get dirty, right?! We are happy with these shoes

Great for chubby feet!
My son is 15 months old and has VERY chubby feet. They are wide and also very fat on the top of his feet so finding comfortable shoes has been difficult. I even tried another popular brand that sells wide widths and they still left marks. Getting him to let me put his shoes on without screaming and getting him to keep them on was nearly impossible. He's been wearing the XW size for about a week now, and they are great! I've gotten a number of compliments on them and they are easy to put on. He actually keeps them on and there's no morning drama! I highly recommend them and will buy this brand again when he outgrows them.
Shoe Center: Fantastic Customer Service!
I originally purchased a size 7 for my son, but put them aside because he was still wearing the 5.5 shoes I bought from a local store. Didn't know that his feet would grow so fast in 3 months time. They fit, but no wiggle room what so ever. So, I put them back in the box and another 4 months later, finally got to contacting the seller if I could get a refund or exchange. No refund since I waited so long, but they agreed to exchange for a bigger size. I did have to pay for return shipping, but was so happy that they were willing to accomodate me. Got size 9s today. They are a little big, but he'll grow into them. So thank you Shoe Center! Special props to employee Michelle, who maintained excellent correspondance :). As for New Balance....order a bigger size than normal. I think they run small.
