Great looking shoes
These shoes are comfortable, look great, and have good width. I know New Balance for me is the only brand that I can actually wear with my rather wide feet, and they always have shoes that deliver quality performance. My one gripe about these shoes in particular though is that they run about half (1/2) a size small, or so it seems. I typically wear a 10.5 4E and when I was walking in them the tips of my toes were pressed up against the front of the shoe.
Highly recommend these shoes, but, think about adding a half a size to your usual!

Hoofing through Europe
I received the New Balance shoes right before leaving for a 2 1/2-week trip to Europe. They were great -- comfortable on many days when we walked at least six or seven miles, usually in hot weather. Usually shoes take a while to break in, but these were comfortable from the start, in Athens, to the end, in Frankfurt.
Toe is WAY too narrow on 4E
I should have heeded the other reviews: the toe is indeed far too narrow on the 4E.
I've been wearing New Balance 4E shoes for years, because they're the only shoes which don't cause me any pain. But this particular shoe is shaped much, much differently from every other New Balance 4E I've owned.
Seriously: the toe is very narrow.
