With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

I wish they were more durable!
I have strong mixed feelings about this shoe. On one hand, I find them very comfortable, amazingly light and convenient (I originally bought them for running/gym while traveling, and they are absolutely perfect for this purpose). They are so cute I have even taking to wearing them as a walking shoe. However, the mesh is ridiculously fragile! After only THREE MONTHS both shoes had torn across the fold at the end of the laces -- just from light wear! (so much for wearing them with bright socks) There is no way New Balance put these shoes through any consumer tests for durability. The other, minor, issue with them is that due to the light rubber on the bottom, they are not waterproof at all through the sole, so you can forget about wearing them on damp trails or sidewalks. I'm sad to say, if I could do it again I definitely would have chosen another brand.

New Balance is moving in the wrong direction
I fell in love with my Minimus WT20 v1 and was waiting eagerly for the WT00 to come out. In a word: disappointing. The upper material (the main body of the shoe) is stiff and thin so it crinkles oddly and cuts into the metatarsals right at the base of the toes. I had a running injury shortly after adding these to my rotation. I can't be sure they were the reason, but I stopped using them and my injury went away. The light mesh the older versions used was far better. I've heard similar complaints from those who have tried the new generation of the WT20 (WT20 v2). Bad move, New Balance. Please go back to the older material!

Local New Balance store refused to carry these shoes saying they fell apart to easily. They also are miss sized being a half size bigger than the same shoe last tried on at New Balance store.
