Out of Balance New Balance Shoes
I have quite wide feet due to bunions, and for an athletic type shoe, pretty much only New Balance is what I can buy, so I go through one pair after another. I was pleased to see this shoe in brown as opposed to the usual white. I got it in size 2E (double wide) and was disappointed how too narrow and not long enough it was, and so I took my old New Balance shoes and placed it together sole to sole and sure enough the new shoes were far less wide and shorter in length, and yet they are both New Balance and both the same size and 2E width. I have returned them and gone up a half size, hoping it will compensate. I am waiting for delivery. If need be will again return and go up a full size from my usual size.

Great Shoe!
These are a replacement for a pair of 645 country walkers. I decided to upgrade to a waterproof shoe, and I wanted either a stability or motion control type shoe; the 968 is a stability shoe, possibly a good choice for those with plantar fasciitis. Although some suggest ordering a size up, I ordered 7D, my usual New Balance size, and I found they fit fine- in fact, a bit looser than expected, even with orthotics, The shoe last type, WOL-01, is new to me; not sure if New Balance has added a new last specific to their outdoor shoes, or if it's just my first experience with it. New Balance describes it as narrower in the heel and roomier in the toe box, and that seems accurate. The shoe has a good, solid feel to it- great support and stability.The nubuck upper is good looking, and this style doesn't look as sneaker-y as some of the other country walkers, so I can wear these to work, as well as for walks. The tread is an aggressive outdoor style, which I would expect for a rugged...

boots are of GREAT quality, however, the ankle is high and was uncomfortable on my ankle. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition.
