Wonderful work-appropriate shoe in every way!
I bought these on Amazon/online instead of in-store because they are:
1) made by New Balance -- great quality, 99% of the time they RUN TRUE TO SIZE, and comfortable.
2) the top surface of the shoe (over the toes) is non-porous, unlike most fitness/walking shoes these days.
3) stylish and work-appropriate.
I wear these in a medical lab setting and clinic, so I get the over-the-toe protection these shoes provide AND still feel they let my feet "breathe". I have to emphasize that these are VERY comfortable walking shoes. The foam insoles that come with this shoe are MUCH better than the gel insole/insert kind you might think of replacing them with. In fact, my feet actual hurt like crazy when I tried the gel inserts!
Bottom line: my feet no longer hurt after a 9-hour work day!

Super Comfortable Walking Shoe!
I have always been a fan of New Balance Shoes. I have found they run "true to size". I wanted a walking shoe that wasn't all mesh, like so many walking shoes are. This shoe is comfortable and looks good and provides EXCELLENT support for my knees and back. This shoe is light weight and not "heavy" looking..Easy on and off. Before I purchased the NBWWM756 I had also considered the Propet W3850...but the New Balance won hands down.
PROS: Stylish, light weight,very comfortable and the material is breathable
CONS: None at this time
I purchased the shoes on line from Amazon since New Balance shoes run "true to size" , the expedient shipping and they offered the best price for this shoe!!!
New Balance 756 Walking Shoe
I love these shoes! I needed something very supportive since I am on my feet for long periods of time, often on concrete, but I also needed something I could quickly get on and off. These shoes are exactly what I was looking for. They are also very stylish and the color, "Green Oasis" is neutral, almost tan, and will go with any other color, no problem. These shoes run true to size.
