Best looking toning shoes around
I really wanted to get into the toning shoe thing but hated the "heavy" look of most of the available options. Then New Balance came along and what a fantastic, streamlined toning shoe they have made. They are surprising light and so comfortable to wear. I got used to the rocking action very quickly and felt different muscles working in my legs immediately - with me it was the front of my upper legs/thighs. I could truly walk in them all day. I actually think they are true to size too - I'm an 8.5 and that's what I bought. The grey is a fabulous colour choice that a lot of the other brands don't have. I didn't want them to look like my regular white-based sports shoe and don't really like the black option either. These even look great with my jeans - just like a casual sneaker. If you have a slightly wider foot, definitely choose the D fitting are quite narrow anyway. Give these Rock & Tone's a go as you won't be disappointed.

takes a little getting used to but they do the job
the shoes are very comfortable. I realized I was using muscles I didn't usually use... and the first time i wore them all day, I was a bit sore as one might be after doing exercise following a long time with out doing so. I think one should start out just wearing them for awhile around the house and then use them for walking exercise, not general wear.
New Balance Rock & Tone
Beautifully crafted shoe. I know there have been complaints about the style but as someone with arthritic knees I have not owned a more comfortable pair of shoes. Fits perfectly and allows me to walk without pain.
