love it and come back to buy another pair
I love my recent (2 months ago) purchase of the New Balance Women's (WW956 Country Walking Shoe). This shoe is very good for walking and travel. It's comfortable; light, feels great on my feet, and I also love the color. Today I come back to buy another pair in case it'll not be available in the future. I am very satisfied with this shoe and would recommend it to another person.

Not comfortable/hard as a rock
When I see something described as a walking shoe, I expect cushioning. This shoe was very hard when I tried it on, but I decided to try and break it in. It is actually causing a problem with my sciatic nerve. I have went back to my old walking shoes and then back to these several times to make sure that it is the shoes and not something else. Everytime I wear these shoes even just running around and not actively walking a track, the pain starts. I am not blaming the makers of the shoes, I have just never reacted this way to a pair of shoes before. I have many other New Balance shoes and hopefully this was just an expensive fluke.
Great help for plantar fasciitis
I received these walking shoes the middle of December and have worn them almost every day for the past 6 weeks. I have gone from having great difficulty walking more than a short distance to being able to walk for a brisk 25-30 minutes with these shoes. After reading recommendations on New Balance products on the internet for help with plantar fasciitis I decided to give them a try and wish I had done so earlier. The fit was just right also!
