Not what I expected
I'm a mail carrier. I walk approximately 10 miles a day. I need good shoes. For the last 5 years I've been wearing NB 845 and it's predecessors(843/844). These are the new improved version of them...? They aren't.
I need a shoe that breathes, this doesn't well.
I need a shoe that's light, this isn't as light as expected.
They aren't the worst shoe they could be, but they aren't worth anything near the almost $90 I paid for a pair.
Save yourself a few bucks and several blisters, get the New Balance 845. They're lighter and breathe better.

Great shoes
I found these at a local store and they wanted a lot more than I paid on Amazon. They are very comfortable and I like the look too. I find NIKE shoes to be very cheaply made and do not last very long. NB is a great brand that lasts. I am mowing my lawn in NB shoes from 8 years ago and they are still holding up.
I am a happy walking guy.
Happy Feet - Updated
I have been buying NB MW84x series walking shoes for a few years. I was having some minor foot issues but probably would have never bought except that they are offered in narrow widths. WOW! I never thought that I could get sneakers in narrow widths. This remains a strong selling point for me in the New Balance brand since proper width is a critical factor in comfort and fit. I had been very content for several years with the MW84x series although each generation took me a little past my comfort zone in styling. I finally drew the line at the new MW846 model due to styling and negative Amazon reviews. I held to the line for over a year. However, after several failed attempts at replacement walking shoes, I caved and bought the MW846 model. My feet have been thanking me ever since. These are truly comfortable walking shoes for my feet. No more sore feet after a brisk walk. No more thoughts of ending walks sooner to give my feet a break. Happy Days are here again...
